Joveta Myrl Stone age 86 passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1924 in Hollis, Oklahoma to the late Eben M. Burkhalter and Ruby Riddle.
Joveta leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, four children: William M. (Margaret) Stone of Houston, Texas, Nancy Jo Rodgers of Corpus Christi, Lyndon R. (Marina) Stone of Humble, Texas and Suzie (Terry) Moench of Corpus Christi; one sister, Naomi Pape of Munday, Texas; six grandchildren: Stacy Nunn, Michael Stone, Billy Ray Rodgers, Terry Moench, Jr., Danny Stone and Charlie Moench; eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery
