Leroy Brower, 59, Moran, KS, died this morning at the Neosho Memorial Hospital in Chanute, Kansas.
Mr. Brower was born January 13, 1911 at Chanute, Kansas.
On February 11, 1934 he was married to Nellie Bower.
They lived in Chanute until 1944 when they moved to Moran. Mr. Brower had lived in Moran since that time and was employed by Mack Colt Inc. as an oilfield pumper.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow of the home; two sons, Ronald Lee Brower, of Pittsburg, KS, and John Thomas Brower, of Enid, OK; two brothers, William F. Brower, of Calgary, Canada; and E.L. Brower, of Chanute, KS.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Ralston-Hutton Chapel. The Rev. Earl Markley will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute, KS.
