Albert Della-Croce passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2011 at the age of 87. He was born June 5, 1923 in Pike View, son of Italian immigrants, Carmine and Antoinette (Iarussi).
A graduate of Colorado Springs High School, class of 1940, Bert worked for over 45 years in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; three sons; three step-children; many grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nine siblings; and his son, John. Bert's youngest brother, Carmine, also survives him.
A visitation is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 28 at the Shrine of Remembrance, with a rosary scheduled for 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado
