Norma J. Fourspring, 59, 2850 N. Creek Road, Girard, died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at Hamot Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 1, 1943, in Erie, daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys Platz Kendig.
She worked for Eckerd Drugs in Erie and formerly worked for Country Fair in Girard. She graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in 1960. She enjoyed baking, flower gardening and watching birds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Fourspring, whom she married May 28, 1966, and who died in 1986.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie J. Fourspring of Girard and Melinda "Mindy" A. Beers and her husband, Randy, of Fairview Township; a son, Chris M. Fourspring and his wife, Dawn, of Fairview; a brother, Ronald Kendig and his wife, Nancy, of Lake City; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard. A service will be held there Monday at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. A.B. Edwards of New Life Community Church, Fairview. Burial will be at Girard Cemetery.
