DAVID C. YOUNG, ONE OF THE OLDEST TAZEWELL RESIDENTS, IS DEAD
David C. Young, 85 years old, a native of Tazewell county and one of its oldest citizens, died last evening at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Orr whom he had been making his home. David C. Young was born in Elm Grove township, November 23, 1839. His marriage to Racheal Shaw occurred in Missouri in the year 1865. His wife preceded him in death some years ago. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Duley a resident of Missouri. Memorial services will be held from the Kuecks Funeral Home Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Services will be in charge of Rev. Ballenger, Tremont pastor. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
