It is with the deepest regret that we learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Porter C. Walker, who was Miss Sallie Alexander, of this place, before her marriage to Judge Walker, of Lawrenceburg. She was apparently only critically ill a few days, when, after a physician's consultation it was decided that her heart was very seriously affected and all efforts to relieve were unavailing and this firm, Christian mother passed into the great beyond on the morning of May the ninth, leaving four interesting children, Messrs. Porter and Francis and Misses Fay and Clyde Walker; also two sisters and one brother, Mrs. T. C. Hemingway, of Mississippi, and Mr. R. L. Alexander and Miss Russell Alexander of this place.
