Donald James Anderson,of Homer City R.D 3,died Monday, Oct. 20, 1980, in Massillon, Ohio.
A son of Andrew & Viola Anthony Anderson,he was born Feb. 13, 1916, in Jefferson County.
He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene,in Homer City.
He had lived most of his life in the Coy area.
A member of United Mine Workers of America Local 488,in Lucerne Mines and he had been associated with R&P Coal Co. for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Violet G. Spencer Anderson;
three sons:
James A., Massillon, Ohio;
R. Fred, Long Island, N.Y.;
Lawrence, Canton, Ohio,
and Miss Mary Ann Anderson, Massillon, Ohio;
a brother, Lawrence, Homer City RD 1;
a sister, Mrs. Clair (Frances) Taylor, Indiana;
and 11 grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Robinson-Lytle`s, Indiana, where services will be held with the Rev. Paul E. Kauffman and the Rev. Gerald L. Meshimer officiating.
Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery,in Frostburg.
