PVT US ARMY WORLD WAR II

Worcester - Ernest J. Bousquet, 90, of Henshaw St. died on Friday June 3 in the Meadows of Leicester after an illness.

He leaves his wife Rita E. (Blondin) Bousquet of Worcester; two daughters Lucille C. Rocheford and her husband Neal of Cherry Valley, and Marie J. Rickard and her husband Raymond of Brookfield; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by two brothers Alex and Francis as well as two step sisters Anna and Clara.

Mr. Bousquet was born in Millbury son of Joseph and Valentine (Thibeault) Bousquet. He is a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army.

Mr. Bousquet worked for many years at American Steel and Wire before retiring in 1980. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church and the American Legion Main South Post 341. He enjoyed listening to Polish polkas and spent many summers vacationing at Salisbury Beach and Wells, Maine.

The funeral will be held on Monday June 6 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 53 Illinois St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours are from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home on Sunday June 5. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Church Restoration Fund, 51 Illinois St., Worcester, MA 01610.
