Harold W. Boggs, 71, of Catlettsburg, passed away Saturday evening, March 27, 2010 at Kings Daughters Medical Center, following a brief illness. Mr. Boggs was born May 25, 1938 in Blaine, KY., to the late Curt and Ethel Griffith Boggs. Harold worked for Ross Brothers Construction, was a member of Teamsters Local 505 of Huntington, WV, and Labor Local 1445 of Catlettsburg. He attended Catlettsburg Church of Christ, enjoyed loafing at the BP with his friends and loved his horses. Survivors include Carolyn Vance Boggs, Harold's loving wife of 48 years, sons Phillip Boggs, his wife Kathy, of Ashland, and Richard Boggs of Atlanta, GA.; brothers, Ray Boggs, (Sue), and Kenneth Boggs, both of Catlettsburg,; sister, Charlene Kelley, (Robert), of Ashland. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Jennifer McCoy, Hunter Boggs, and J.D. Maynard; 3 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Katie , and Kalee. Funeral service will be at 1:00PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Kilgore & Colllier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg. Pastor Elias Perry will officiate. Final rest in Golden Oaks Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends is 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Tuesday at the funeral home
