Mrs. Georgianna T. BUCHER, 47, Huntertown, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Parkview hospital at Ft. Wayne. She had been ill two days. She was born Mar. 24, 1921, at Warsaw, the daughter of Samuel and Martha Jane BOYER TIBBITTS. Her marriage was April 30, 1942, at Syracuse, to Gerald BUCHER, who survives. She had lived in Huntertown five years, moving from Akron. Mrs. Bucher was a member of the United Methodist Church in Huntertown, and the Huntertown Homemakers club. Also surviving are three sons, Roger, Gary and Dennis [BUCHER], all at home; seven [sic] sisters, Mrs. Alton (Pauline) SHOEMAKER, Claypool; Mrs. Raymond (Naomi) ROSS, Warsaw; Mrs. Devon (Margery) DEATON, Claypool; Mrs. Sam (Lucille) BOGGS, Warsaw; Mrs. Willard (Isabelle) HANKINS, Huntertown, and Mrs. Lewis (Joann) RULE, of Warsaw. One brother preceded in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Thursday in the Silver Creek Church of God. The Revs. Jim MARTIN and Hershel McCORD will officiate. Burial will be in the Silver Creek cemetery. Friends may call at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron after 10 a.m. Wednesday until noon on Thursday and at the church one hour prior to services.
