Brooklet - H. Homer Ryals, 95, died Monday afternoon in the Azalealand Nursing Home after an extended illness. The Wheeler County native lived most of his life in Bulloch County, was a member of the Forrest City Gun Club and was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Lillian Stephenson and Dorothy Zetterower, both of Brooklet; one son, Christopher C. Ryals, Savannah; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Brooklet City Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Eason officiating. Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
