Mrs. Paul T. Pontius, 61, of Batavia, died Sunday in her home, 2 Charles Street, after being stricken with a heart attack upon returning from an automobile ride. She was a native of Stanley. Surviving besides her husband, are a son, Lawson J., Batavia; four daughters, Mrs. Thomas W. Smith and Mrs. Roy J. Hottois, Batavia; Mrs. Charles Trout and Mrs. Charles Jewell, Rocherster; a brother, James Gaffney, Cortland and a sister, Mrs. John Carroll, Waterloo.
