Our beloved daughter, sister, wife and friend, Arlene Ann Begay, 40, of Shiprock, passed from this life on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, in Shiprock.
She was born Feb. 7, 1971, in Shiprock, to Peter S. Begay Sr. and Bessie Rose Begay.
Arlene was a loan officer at American General in Farmington. She was also a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Peter S. Begay Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Begay; mother, Bessie R. Begay; sisters, Donna (Robert) Ramsey, Nora (Mike) Youngren, Priscilla (Elvin) Keeswood and Patricia (Raymond) Brady; brother, Peter (Claudine) Begay Jr.; four nieces; five nephews; four grand-nieces and a grand-nephew.
