Died Very Suddenly
Mrs. Chester Cole died very suddenly at her home on north Fourth street Sunday night at eleven o'clock. She had been in perfect health prior to that time. With Mr. Cole she had made all arrangements for a picnic in the woods Monday and they retired about nine o'clock. At eleven o'clock Mr. Cole was awakened by her getting out of bed. He asked her where she was going and she remarked that it was difficult for her to breath. She sat down in a rocking chair in the room and Mr. Cole dressed and went to a neighbor's to phone for a doctor. When he returned she was dead. She was sixty-one years of age and had resided in Estherville for several years. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, June 15, 1910)
