Rebecca "Nana" Musser, 89, formerly of Kepner Hill Road, Muncy, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Elmcroft of Loyalsock, where she resided the past year.

Born April 3, 1921 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Clark L. and Anna Marguerite (Turner) Dimm.

On October 11, 1939, she married Cameron Musser, who preceded her in death on July 21, 2004 after 64 years of marriage.

A 1939 graduate of Muncy High School, she worked as a sales clerk at the former Paul's Clothing Store in Muncy.

She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Muncy, where she was actively involved in several church activities. Nana was a member of Queen Esther's Sunday School class and previously taught Sunday School for many years. She served on the Building Committee when the new church was erected at its present location. Nana also volunteered in the kitchen, where she cooked and served many church meals, and at one time she sang in the choir. For years she worked at the church food stand at both the Lycoming County Fair in Hughesville and the Bloomsburg Fair.
Nana enjoyed playing cards and participated in an area card club for many years.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert and Sandy Musser of Muncy and James Musser of Watsontown; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Norm Weigle of Williamsport; two sisters, Lucille Lockard and Marie Lewis, both of Muncy; 8 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Donald Dimm and John Dimm; and one sister, Martha Spring.

The funeral will be held at noon on Tuesday, March 1, at the First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy. Officiating will be her pastor, Rev. Michael R. Gardy. Burial will follow in Muncy Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the church from 10:30 a.m. until noon on Tuesday.

The family welcomes flowers; however, if desired memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, PA 17756.
