Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Niceene) Connolly; one brother, Cecil Stone; four sisters, Mildred Adams, Nela Sielschott, Irma Davis and Jessie Stone; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was the extension advisor for the U of I for Mason County from 1969 to 1988. She was a 4-H leader for 20 years and Girl Scout leader for seven years.
She was on the board of directors for the Mason County Health Improvement Association for three years.
