Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 21 at Old North Church, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills for Mrs. Violet P. Stowe, 66, 7560 Valmont St., Tujunga. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. Mrs Stowe died Jan. 18 in a Glendale hospital. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and had lived in the Tujunga area for 23 years. She was a resident of California for 46 years, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Harrison, Glendale, and Mrs. Marion Schliecher of Tennesse; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Smith of San Anselmo, California and Mrs. Bernice Kent of Glendale, two brothers, Maurice Peterson of Monrovia and Grant Peterson of Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
