JULIA A. WARD
LIMESTONE - Julia A. Ward died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at the Maine Veterans' Home, Caribou. She was born March 10, 1924, in Limestone, to Idella and Bedford Griffeth. Julia was predeceased by her husband, Homer R. Ward Jr. She is survived by her children, Billie Ann Ward, Gregory A. and his wife, Nancy Ward and Constance J. Ward; as well as eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Virginia Adams and Leola LaPointe. The memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Limestone United Methodist Church with Pastor Ellen Cleaves officiating. Friends and family are invited to visit 10 a.m., before the service and stay for refreshments after the service. Burial will be at Webster Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Limestone United Methodist Church, 11 Burleigh Ave., Limestone or the Robert Frost Memorial Library, Main Street, Limestone.
