Alvin T. Hundley
Alvin Taylor Hundley, 80, of 4468 Longview Drive, Fieldale, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at his home.
Born Aug. 22, 1918, in Henry County, he was the son of the late Taylor Marshall Hundley and the late Berda Estelle Stegall Hundley.
A World War II Army veteran, Hundley worked for American Electric Power for 25 years and for Adelphia Cable for 22 years. He retirred from the latter.
He was a member of the Fieldale Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Eliza Gauldin Hundley of the home; one daughter, Sherry H. Hunley of
Collinsville; two sons, Michael M. Hundley of Fieldale and Barry T. Hundley of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Roselawn Burial Park with the Rev. Richard Harrison officiating.
The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Services from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. today, and other times at the home on Longview Drive.
