LAUREL — Dorothy Rose Sumrall Jaques
Dorothy Rose Sumrall Jaques, 71 of Taylorsville, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd "Red" Sumrall and Idell Sumrall Sumrall, husband, Robert Jaques, brother: T.F. Sumrall, sisters: Kathleen Mozingo, Virginia Blue; grandson, Jamie Lott.
She is survived by daughters, Gladys Strickland of Sandersville, Terry
Bates of Taylorsville,Trista Moss of Taylorsville; sisters: Elaine Watkins of Taylorsville, Annie Kate Lofton of Columbus; grandchildren: Ricky Strickland, Joey Bates, Daniel Bates, Tiffany, Josee, Joseph, Michale and Jacob Moss and great-granddaughter, Victoria Hubbard.
Pallbearers will be Joey Bates, Daniel Bates, Erick Thompson, Ricky Strickland, Dan Strickland, Shane Woods.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville was in charge of arrangements.
