Former Maker Of Mattresses Is Dead at 74
Benjamin Wallace, 74, died Tuesday in a Fort Worth hospital after a three-month illness.
Born in Texas, he had lived in Fort Worth about 70 years. Wallace was a retired mattress manufacturer and lived at 3611 Locke.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. O. R. Hungerford of Waco; three sons, Virgil, Herman, and Comal, all of Fort Worth; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in East Side Baptist Church on Peach St. Rev. D. O'Neal will officiate and burial will be in Garden of Memories.
