DEATH TAKES
MRS. LeVELLE
Mrs. A. C. LeVelle died at 9:20 o'clock Saturday night at the family home, 311 North Alameda Street, of a lingering illness. She had been ill since July 1936.
Mrs. LeVelle, 56 years old is survived by her husband and their eight children Mrs. J.G. Doggett of Pampa, Mrs. George Ater of Clovis, Alfred S. LeVelle of Dallas, Mrs. Glennie Smith, Julia LeVelle, Mildred LeVelle, Harry LeVelle and Edward LeVelle, all of Carlsbad. Seven grandsons also survive.
Mrs. LeVelle had been a Carlsbad resident for many years having moved here with Mr. LeVelle and their family 22 years ago.
Funeral was scheduled for 4:30 o'clock this afternoon at Grace Episcopal Church with interment to follow at Carlsbad Cemetery.
Rev. Hall Pierce was to be in charge of the services.
Pallbearers were to include; Harry Fleming, Sam Thomas, Rude Wilcox, Dick Westaway, R.C. Barton and Ben Duke.
Mrs. Doggett had been at her mother's bedside for several weeks and other members of the family were called Friday when Mrs. LeVelle's condition became critical.
