DONALD WILBURN

Funeral services for Donald Cleo Wilburn, 67 year old Eakly resident, were held Saturday, December 4, at 10 am at the Swan Lake Baptist Church, south of Eakly, with Don Chambers officiating. Burial followed in the Eakly Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home, Inc. of Weatherford.

Donald was born August 2, 1926, in Eakly and died December 2, 1993, at his home in Eakly.
He attended school at Eakly until joining the Army in 1944. He received an Honorable Discharge from the Army in 1947 and returned to the Eakly area where he farmed.

On August 4, 1967, he married Juanita Griffitts in Wheeler, Texas.

On December 1, 1979, he married Florene Luekenga in Eakly. They made their home in Eakly. Donald farmed until his ill health force him to retire in December 1992.

He was baptized as a young man and recently had rededicated his life. He was a member of the Swan Lake Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Florene, of the home in Eakly; a son and his wife, Coy Don and Lori Wilburn of Eakly; a daughter, Sonja Renea Wilburn of Bovinia, Texas; parents, Clarnece and Lillie (Kuhn) Wilburn; two stepdaughtes
and their husbands, Rhonda and Dean Ridgeway and Beverly and Chris Axtell, all of Weatherford; a grandson, Cody Wilburn of Carnegie; five granddaughrers, Deidra and Darci Ridgeway and Resha, Kaci and Kenzie Axtell, all of Weatherford; and two sisters, Ruth Powell of Eakly and
Barbara Anthony of Arlington, Texas.

He was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Norma Hines.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association."
