Elmer Daily Davis is the son of Aaron Preston Davis and Bertha Eunice Davis (nee LeGrant). Elmer married Veola Grim.

Funeral services for Elmer D. Davis, a retired grocery store operator of Central Valley, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lawncrest Cemetery.
Pastor Richard Cunningham will conduct the services.
David died Friday at Memorial Hospital in Redding. He was 69.
Born Jun 20, 1904 in South Dakota, Davis was a 10-year resident of Shasta County.
Davis leaves his wife, Veola of Central Valley; a son Glen R. of Grants Pass; three daughters, Priscilla Mellow of Anderson, Mellicent Loaper [Millicent Looper?] of Central Valley,and Penny McGetrick of Redding; two brothers, Lawrence of Costa Mesa and Arnold J. of Palm Springs; four sisters, Gladys Wipt of Shaffer, Calif., Mary Bell of Red Bluff, Eva Wipf of Cypress and Eunice Kubelka of San Francisco; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will take place at Lawncrest Memorial Park.
The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society of Shasta County.
