The second of seven children born to Elva and Ruth Renick Peck, Evelyn married Ray S. Vineyard July 1, 1950 at Piggott, Clay Co. Arkansas. They moved to Michigan where Ray worked in the car industry, and Evelyn became the owner of her own beauty shop. They were the parents of three sons, David, Daniel and Gregory. Ray was a Sunday School teacher, and Evelyn always loved to sing with groups, and in the choir.
