Juanita Marie "Nina" Burleson, 79, of Tyler went home to be with our Lord Jesus Feb. 22, 2011. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Nina was born in Van Zandt County on June 11, 1931, to Martin and Lucille Allen. A lifelong Texan, she resided in Tyler and married Bill Burleson, her husband of 59 years. Nina was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church of Tyler.
Nina was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill, daughter Shirley McClenny, granddaughter, Kristi Lee Burleson, her sister Dean, and three brothers, James, Coyse and Howard.
Her family and friends will miss her.
