NORTH OGDEN- Jared Edward Staheli son of William D and Shauna Wiscombe Staheli of North Ogden, Utah, was called home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at age 32, after honorably serving and completing his mission here on earth. He fought his fight with cancer and eventually lost his life to side effects of the treatment.

Jared was a tender and kind son, brother, uncle and grandson who unconditionally loved everyone he knew and in return was loved by everyone who knew him. He was especially cherished by his nieces and nephews who would run into his arms and demand his attention each time they came to visit.

Jared was active and served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all of his life. He served a full-time mission in the Lindon Utah Bishop's Storehouse for 1 ½ years. He served as a secretary in the Elders Quorum, ward activation missionary, and for the last several years as the singles ward building cleaning coordinator- a service he was pleased and anxious to perform.

Jared is survived by his parents William D and Shauna (Wiscombe) Staheli of North Ogden; his brothers and sisters-in-law William W and Rashae (Varble) Staheli of Fort Worth, TX; Clinton C. and Angela (Hunt) Staheli of Brigham City; Trent I. and Stephanie (King) Staheli of Lander, WY; Jacob and Micaela (Bancroft) Staheli of Magna; Kyle B. and Tiffany (Parkinson) Staheli of North Ogden; Derrick R. and Christa (Staker) Staheli of Ogden; Shane G. Staheli; 4 nephews and 2 nieces. He is also survived by his grandparents William H and Mary Dunn Staheli of Springville, Utah and Dorothy Anderson Wiscombe of Mapleton, Utah.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at the North Ogden 25th Singles Ward, 386 East Elberta Drive, North Ogden, Utah. Friends and family may call on Friday, February 25, 2011, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah, and on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., prior to services at the church.
