Mrs. Fritz Beckord died at her home here Sunday evening. She has been in failing health for several months. Mrs. Beckord is an old and highly respected citizen of this community, having lived here many years. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lena Marquard of Avoca, Miss Minta, at home; three sons, Fred, Martin and Frank, all of Utica, and a number of grandchildren and other relatives and many friends. She was a member of the Lutheran church from which place the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Utica cemetery.
