After the Civil War , she was advised by an Indian Agent that if she wanted to claim property owned by the Bybee Family in Lampasa, Texas that she would have to go there . William Jack (Husband) would not let her go as at the time, a dangerous trip. So she didn't go. The grand daughter said that she knew that there were families of Bybee's in Lampasa and there still are. When Safronia was born in 1850 she and her family were put on the "White" census thus has never found them on Dawes List..
