Nancy Royal was daughter of John Royal and Elizabeth Jones of KY/TN. John and Elizabeth were married on 17 Jul 1786 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.They lived in Jackson Co TN for several years before arriving in White/Pulaski Co Arkansas.

A sister of Nancy, Elizabeth Royal, married Byram Stacy .

Sherrod Bybee I , father of 1780 Sherrod II, left England, his native country, and emigrated to America, settling in Fluvanna County, Virginia, two of his brothers settled there with him. He married there and had four children: John, William, Elizabeth and Sherrod II.

Nancy Royal was born in 1790 and died in 1845 in White County, Arkansas.Her second marriage was to a McPherson.

Nancy Safronia Angeline Bybee , was daughter of James Bybee. James was brother of Adam Bybee.

A grand daughter of Nancy Safronia Angeline Bybee stated that her Grand Mother married William Jackson Baker in Montgomery County, Ark and that Nancy was a Choctah Indian . After the Civil War , she was advised by an Indian Agent that if she wanted to claim property owned by the Bybee Family in Lampasa, Texas that she would have to go there . William Jack (Husband) would not let her go as at the time, a dangerous trip. So she didn't go. The grand daughter said that she knew that there were families of Bybee's in Lampasa and there still are. When Safronia was born in 1850 she and her family were put on the "White" census thus has never found them on Dawes List..
