LACKEY Funeral services for Irene E. Lackey, age 81, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Shawnee, Oklahoma. J.C. Farrand of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Shawnee, Oklahoma. She passed away on July 22, 2000, at Southwest Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mrs. Lackey was born April 1, 1919, to E.W. and Sally (Boren) Hart in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, moved to Holdenville, Oklahoma in 1925, and then to Shawnee, Oklahoma in 1936. She married Robert L. Lackey January 22, 1939. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Michael and Kay Lackey of Oklahoma City; one granddaughter and her husband, Lea and Steve Penna and two great grandchildren of Wake Forest, NC.
