A 19 year old Emmett youth, home on leave from the U S Navy, was killed Sunday evening in a one-car accident two miles north of Emmett.
Dead is Marvin Charles Haussler, route 2, who was a passenger in a car driven by Ray Edward Kilgore, 19, of Harwick, PA, also on leave from the Navy, according to the Gem county sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office was unable to give the identity of a girl who also was a passenger in the vehicle. Neither she nor Kilgore was injured in the accident, which occurred at 7:10 p.m. Sunday at Sanders corner on highway 52, north of Emmett.
