Standard, IL - Norman C. Liles, 63, of Standard died at 5:40 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 1997, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Born June 11, 1933, in Utica to Floyd and Mildred "Jennie?" Borg Liles, he married Anna Mae Gimbal on Dec. 20, 1952, in Granville. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Norman of rural Granville; four daughters, Cynthia Anderson of Mark, Rhonda Doyle of Standard, Judy Moore of rural Peru and Lisa Draper of rural Granville; two sisters, Doris Hochstatter of Ladd and Lethia Bara of Peru; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
One infant son, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Burial will be in Granville Cemetery.
