MARTHA P. DUDGEON
---Mrs. Martha Ann dudgeon, seventy-five year old resident of La Plata, died Monday night at the home of her son, Pearl Dudgeon, of near La Plata. She had been in failing health for several months but had been confined to her bed only for the last three days.
---Funeral services were held at the La Plata Christian Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Burial was in the La Plata cemetery.
---Mrs. dudgeon, the daughter of Emily and John Pinkston, was born in Knox County, near Hurdland, January 11, 1869.
---She was married to William Dudgeon, September 18, 1881. Four children were born to this union, three surviving their mother. Mrs. Dudgeon is survived by two sons, Pearl Dudgeon of near La Plata and Foster Dudgeon of Kirksville; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Madison of Seymour, Iowa; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Ross of Brashear and one brother, Edward Pinkston of Brookings, South Dakota.
