Jamie Caroline Pennington Mullinax, 22, wife of Ben Mullinax of Beech Street Extension, died Wednesday.

A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of Betty Byers Pennington of Gaffney, and the late Niles Pennington.

She was a member of the United Penecostal Church, and a textile employee.

Surviving with her husband and mother are one daughter, Heather Connie Mullinax of the home; eight sisters, Jennifer, Amelia, and Tracey Pennington, Barbara Jean Harvey, Judy Puckett, Debbie White, and Mary Wyatt, all of Gaffney, and Linda Cobb of Spartanburg; one brother, Daryl Pennington of Gaffney; maternal grandmother, Hazel Atkins of Gaffney.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Chapel, with the Revs. Bobby Echols and William Blanton officiating.

Burial will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 7-8 p.m. at the Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Pennington, Eric Puckett, Billy White, Robert Wyatt, Chris Cobb, Samuel Harvey, John Thomas, and Morgan Bright, Sr.
