A Pretty Double Wedding
Yesterday afternoon at four o'clock occurred the double wedding of Charles A. Dayton to Miss Maud Hudson and R. Dale Seevers to Miss Jessie Hudson. The wedding took place at the Hudson home and was a quiet affair only a few of the friends and relatives being present. Among those attending from abroad were Mr. and Mrs. Seevers of Oskaloosa, parents of the bridegroom and a brother of Mr. Dayton. Rev. F.W. Ginn, of the M.E. church officiated. Like sensible people the happy couples will immediately settle down to housekeeping in pleasant home on North Fourth street, newly built and furnished by the grooms. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, October 16, 1902)
