"Item 10th. It is my will and desire that all my estate both real and personal not above disposed of to be sold at the death or intermarriage of my said wife and the proceeds thereof to be equally divided between all my children to wit. Elijah Powell, Milly Prothrow, wife of William Prothrow, Tinsley Powell, Cynthia Partain, wife of Henry Partain, James Powell, Agga Hawks, wife of Robert Hawks, Wiley Powell, Dicie Watt [sic: Dicey Watts], wife of James Watt [sic: Watts], FRANCIS MARIAN [sic: Marion] POWELL, Lewis Powell, Louisa V. Powell, William L.B. Powell, Mary Powell and Nancy Johnson, wife of John Johnson, my said daughter Nancy Johnson being dead it is my desire that her children share her part or have all of them to share and share alike."
