"Bertha A. ( Keller) Buskirk, 93, of Whitehall, formerly of Lehighton died January 5th in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Arch Buskirk who died in 1966. Born February 22, 1915 in Bushkill Township, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Frantz) Keller. Bertha worked at the former Brights Department Store, Lehighton and she was president and co-owner of Rock Hill Materials Co. Bertha was a volunteer at Gnaden Huetten Hospital for many years.
Survivors: She is survived by a son, Glenn Buskirk and his wife Carol, of Whitehall; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Bertha was predeceased by two sons, Richard W. Buskirk and Ernest J. Buskirk, and two sisters, Cora Henshue and Lottie Bonney.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, January 8, in the Reichel Funeral Home 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call Thursday 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating Clergy will be Reverend Dr. Becky J. Beckwith. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Bushkill Township. Memorials may be presented to the Alzheimers Association, c/o funeral home."
