H.C. Archibald, employee at the Borger Synthetic Rubber Plant, was found dead in his bed at the Pennsylvania Hotel about 2 p.m. Saturday.
Archibald was found by the hotel maid while she was making her rounds of the rooms with clean linens. Police Chief Jack Julian and the coroner were summoned. Archibald was thought to have died during the night Friday.
A resident of the Pennsylvania Hotel since April 20, Archibald was formerly a resident of Abilene. The body is at Powell Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are pending.
