Judson spent his childhood in Missoula attending Hawthorne School and Hellgate High School. He then attended the Bible School of Los Angeles before serving in the US Army in WW II. He married 1 May 1949 in Missoula and he and Gladys later moved to California where he carried on his father's tradition as a piano technician. They later returned to Missoula where he worked for the University of Montana and Pianos International as a piano technician. He loved the Lord, and enjoyed working with the deaf, both interpreting and preaching in their services. He taught Sunday school and served as interim pastor or willingly fulfilling any ministry the Lord had for him.
