Nettie, 76, of Vestaburg passed away Thursday at her home. Nettie was born to Anthony and Rosemary Wezensky. She was raised in the Mt. Pleasant area and graduated from Harrison High School class of 1953.
She worked in retail as a store clerk. Nettie enjoyed crocheting, quilting, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Nettie is survived in death by her husband Wayne John Custer of Vestaburg; children Paula Bowerman of Lansing, Donald Custer of Lansing, Charlene (Mark) Vondett of Grand Rapids, Brian (Vicki) Custer of Lansing; brother Michael (Vicki) Wezensky of Constantine; grandchildren Lisa Bowerman, Jessica (Nick) Divietri, Matthew (Sara) Nostrant, Steven Bowerman, Lisa (Tanner) Bowe, Anthony (Linda) Custer, Andrew(Alexis) Custer, Thomas Custer, Aaron Custer, Alicia(Andrew) Cosgrove, Gregory Vondett, Danielle Custer, and great grandchildren Jayda Bowe, Randy Nostrant, and Ayden Bowe.
She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Rosemary Wezensky, Mother and father in law Don and Olive Custer and son in law Randy Nostrant. Funeral services for Nettie were Monday, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church, Edmore. A Rosary service was prayed.
