Charles and his friend, Ed Costello dropped out of Charlie Junior High School 127, to enlist in the Marines.
Arriving in Vietnam 15 November 1967 Charles was assigned to Mortar Battery,
1st Battalion, 13th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division.
Survived by his father, George Belasco and his sister; Patricia Belasco of 2166 Bronx Park East, Bronx, NY and the following brothers and sisters; John, Stephan,
Georgette, George Jr, Charlotte, Margaret and Martin.
LCpl Belasco was buried 10 September 1968.
His mother Agnes Belasco was deceased and his sister; Maureen Belasco died in 1967-Memorial #195237188.
