Mrs. Margaret Mills Robertson, age 88, died Friday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. A native of Wadley, Ga., Mrs. Robertson had lived in Bulloch County since 1945. She attended Bessie Tift College and was a memer of the Statesboro First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Statesboro First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class and the Betty Evans WMU. Mrs. Roertson was a member of the Merry Weeders Garden Club and she received a Deen Day Smith Service to Mankind Award and was a recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband with their dental practice for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Hunter Robertson.

Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law and one son and daughter-in-law, Amelia and William Royster of Sanford, Fla., Florence Ann and Billy Bice of Marietta, Jean and Autrey Moore of Brooklet, Lynn and George Steffner of Acworth and Dan and Jan Roertson of Stockbridge; one brother, William R. Mills of Wadley; two sisters-in-law, Moise W Mills of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Mary F. Mills of Augusta; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Statesboro First Baptist Church with Dr. Quinn Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Brooklet City Cemetery. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
