Mrs. Mary Sipe, wife of Joseph Sipe, of Quemahoning Township, died Monday night, September 18, at 11 o'clock. Her maiden name was Mary Friedline. She was in her 87th year. She is survived by the following children*: Ellen Berkebile, of Johnstown, widow of Albert Berkebile; Malinda Johnson, of Kantner. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Robert Slick of Johnstown and Grace Betz, whose home is near Breastwork Farm. The services were held at the Lutheran church at Lambertsville.
