FUNERAL OF AUGUST BEECHER
Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon for August Beecher who died at the home of his son, William Beecher, No. 54 1/2 Buell street, at the age of 82 years. Burial took place in the Batavia cemetery. Mr. Beecher had been a resident of Batavia for the past fifty years, coming to America from Germany 64 years ago. His wife died about five years ago and he leaves another son, George, of Canandaiga, and five daughters, Mrs. Catherine Grimes, Mrs. Elizabeth Crandall, Mrs. Arthur Ellis, and Mrs. Pearl Gorham, all of Batavia, and Mrs. Mabe Seltz of Cleveland, O.
