Ms. Hazel Ruth Buckner passed away on Friday, December 26,2003, at her home in Cookeville, Tn.
She was born March 27, 1946, in Putnam County, to the late Isaac Lee and Ethel Lee (Phillips) Buckner. She was a retired secretary and a member of the Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by 2 sons, Isaac Dewayne Brown of Gainesboro, Tn and Greg Bumbalough of Cookeville, Tn. 3 sisters, Lee Ann Buckner of Monterey, Marie Looper of Algood, and Edna Brown of Cookeville; 5 brothers, Eugene, Harson, Hollis, Coy and Carl Buckner, all of Monterey; and 3 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Grover Dale Buckner.
