Mary Lucinda Smith, 94, of Mt. Vernon, Ill, died Wednesday, Oct 26, 2005, at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor. Born Sept. 22, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Henry B. and Ida E. (McMillion) Haley. She is survived by a daughter, Cleta Mae Dockins of Lakeland, Fla,: a sister, Zelema Harrison of Mt. Vernon, Ill: eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Graveside services were held Tuesday in Palestine Cemetery with Darrell Fears officiating.
