Obituary from the Bremen Enquirer, Bremen, Indiana, October 8, 1942:
"Milton Hemminger, eighty-three years old died Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at Parkview Hospital in Plymouth. He was born in Marshall county, July 25, 1859. In 1887, he was married to Emma Mikel, who preceded him in death. Surviving relatives are two sons, Floyd Hemminger of Bremen and Ernest Hemminger of Iowa. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Church of the Brethren. Rev. John Metzler of Nappanee assisted by Rev. W. D. Keller, pastor of the church, officiated in the service. Burial was in the Bremen cemetery."
