Ruby A. (Sparks) Hunsaker (Pickett), 92, of Mabton died Thursday at Grandview Health Care Center.
Mrs. Hunsaker was born in Mabton. She worked for United Telephone Co. as a night telephone operator in Sunnyside. She lived in Kansas for a few years before returning to the Yakima Valley.
Survivors include her daughters, Maureen Manka of Yakima, Donna Shreve of Mabton; a son, Thales (Buster) Hunsaker of Grandview; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be noon-8 p.m. Monday at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Mabton Cemetery.
