DELTA, Utah--Vonda Black Moody, age 89, died December 23, 1993 in the West Millard Care Center.

She was born March 13, 1904 at Deseret, Utah to Joseph V. and Jane Amelia Cahoon Black. Married Donald M. Moody October 1925 in Salt Lake City; he died May 1987. She worked as a telephone operator for over 30 years, for the Millard Co. Tel and Tel, and the Contel Telephone Company.

Survived by daughters, Mrs. Ray (Beth) Brown, Hinckley; Mrs. Cheryl Milton, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Robert (Kay) Hansen, Washington D.C.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Amelia Jane Cole, Tempe, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose K. Black, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m., in the Delta 3rd-4th Ward. Friends may call at the Nickle Mortuary, Monday, 7 to 8 p.m. and at the church Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Deseret Cemetery under the direction of the Nickle Mortuary.
