Funeral service for William Benton "Pappy" Broyles, 81, will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with John Laidley and Hospice Chaplin Harold Fanning officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Broyles died on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 26, 1929, in Jelico County, Ky. to Homer P. Broyles and Myrtle Annie Hutson Broyles. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill spent many years helping his daughter at Ramey's Shell.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Eileen Broyles: a daughter, Lora Ramey of Birmingham; two brothers, Homer P. Broyles (Nigel) and Donald Broyles (Carla), both of Florida; two sisters, Cecilea Hill (Paul) of Tennessee and Mary Prewitt of Arkansas; three grandchildren, Tonya Bloodworth Casteel, Chad Bloodworth and Kelly Ramey; three great-grandchildren and a fourth on the way; and mother-in-law, Maxine Silvers.

Pallbearers will be John Singleton, Dan Reist, Ron Cheek, John Booker, Randy Green and Dennis Ramey.
